The Skate To Create skateboard podcast talks to Fred van Schie of FvS Media. Fred talks about growing up skateboarding in Holland. With the help of his father, Fred built and owned the largest indoor skatepark in Holland at the age of 18. He talks about taking a job as a rep for Sole Tech, which led to him moving to California and becoming their Marketing Manager. He also discusses how he started his own freelance social media education agency.

We interview Fred van Schie about the impact that social media has had on his view of the marketing world. Fred van Schie tells us more about how he’s learned about the importance of social media from repping for major companies in the Skateboard industry such as Sole Technology, Baker, The Kayo Corp, and Deluxe He talks about how he has worked with over fifty professional skateboarders including Andrew Reynolds, Ryan Decenzo, and Torey Pudwill.
